Nicole's nest is a start rated facility, that has over 20 years of combined child care experience.
Nicole’s Nest opened August of 2014. The Director Nicole Vickers has been in the childcare business for over 10 years. She graduated from Kent State University in 2007, worked for ChildTime and then became the Director of Hope YMCA for about 6 years. She also worked for over 2 years as a certified type B home provider. Nicole’s Nest continues to grow and serves children 6 weeks to 12 years old.

Step up to quality is a five–star quality rating and improvement system administered by the Ohio Department of Education and the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services. SUTQ recognizes and promotes learning and development programs that meet quality program standards that exceed and school age child care licensing health and safety regulations. Step Up To Quality program standards are based on national research identifying standards which lead to improved outcomes for children.
Creative Curriculum is the center curriculum
The Creative Curriculum balances both teacher-directed and child-initiated learning, with an emphasis on responding to children's learning styles and building on their strengths and interests. ... It is a comprehensive curriculum with a clear organizational structure and a particular focus on interest areas.
Our Staff are certified in CPR, First Aid, Child Abuse and Commuincable Disease and take regular developmental trainings annually.
